Why become an AKC Club?
In order to be able to continue to offer additional events to the Leonberger, their friends, and the surrounding community.
What events will the club continue to offer to the community?
Scent Work, ATT, FastCAT, FIT Dog, FETCH, CGCs, TKs.
We will also start doing some designated and/or concurrent specialties as soon as we can!!
Why the name change?
ONLY BECAUSE of the current AKC requirement that licensed clubs must include a city or state in the name. Example: We could have named the club Leonberger Club of Albuquerque or Leonberger Club of Colorado. Frontier Leonberger Club of the Southwest - Texas was considered, however that name is just toooo long. We chose to keep it simple.
Who can join?
ANYBODY from anywhere - any breed. Please check out our very reasonable membership prices!
Why Texas?
At this time most members addresses are in Texas which helps in reaching the numbers needed for AKC.
What events will the Four Corners Club offer?
PuebLEOpalooza Regional Specialty and continued play dates at Tyra’s house and in the Colorado area. As well as any other events they so wish! We are so happy for all geographic areas to be represented by both clubs!
